Fabricating steps for slide-in when towing trailer?

I need to fabricate some type of steps to enter and exit the camper while an enclosed, v-nose trailer is attached to the truck. Just wondering if anyone here has come up with something similar? The t...

I'm going to suggest doing what I did: lengthen your trailer tongue.
That eliminated the need for a crazy hitch extension (something I believe is a horrible idea for several good reasons) and gives me room for getting in and out of my camper.
It tows better too. Since you're a metal fab guy, I'm sure you can handle it!
