Good grief, this is like beating a dead horse. :p How many times can it be said?! ... separating exhaust gas and hot exhaust air by installing an exhaust extension as the OP did is a terrible idea as it entirely circumvents Honda's original design, which by it's case design couples both gases together for exhaust purposes while also preventing either from mixing with incoming cooling air.

It might be a terrible idea but it is mine and I am going to have some fun with it :) I don't golf, I don't fish, I like to play with my toys and ideas.
I am also thinking that when Honda designed this, venting it by running the exhaust through a maze was not included in their engineering:h I could be wrong?
