Installing a vent hole for dryer

My husband n I have purchased a 2011 keystone alpine 5th wheel that is already prepped for a stackable washer and dryer but we have no idea where the hole for the dryer vent to be placed. Can anyone help by chance? There is no sticker or anything in the closet where the washer n dryer go that says where to make the hole for dryer vent. Thank you for your help

  • There isn't anything on the outside of the 5th wheel for the dryer vent we have to make the hole for it. Everything is already prepped for the washer n dryer to be installed and hooked up but don't know where to make the hoke for the dryer vent to go outside the 5th wheel

  • Sometimes you have to just find a place to drill the hole. Closest proximity to the dryer with a clear shot to the side wall between studs. Maybe if you can find pics on line of the same FW or one close to your floor plan and see where their vent is.

As an example, I just googled your model and found pics where the vent is located.

  • another thing to consider buying instead of a traditional washer and dryer, is a all in one unit.  doesn't need a vent, just water supply and a drain.

barring that, is there a vent on the outside?  if so remove the grill, drill the hole from the outside and then re attach the vent grill.

So if it doesn’t vent the moisture outside while it’s drying the clothes, where does the moisture go?
