LED Awning Light - Shout Out!!!

Hey there,

No affiliation and nothing to gain, but had a great experience with Boogey Lights and wanted to let you all know.

I know you can buy cheaper but the support and product can't be beat. Watch their video comparison and you will see.

I placed my order around 4pm on Tuesday and at my door Thursday morning. It shipped out within minutes of placing my online order.

I was anxious to get them installed so last night I set out to install them. It was a lot simpler that I had expected and was flashing lights with my iPhone app within the hour of starting.

However, I experienced a problem, the lights just turned off. I troubleshoot them for about another hour and decided that the bluetooth controller must just be bad so I pulled it out expecting to call and get a run around. But Brian called me back within 5 minutes, did some testing and determined it was bad and shipped out a new controller and return box for the old one.

Sure I had bad luck with the original item, but it is electronic and things happen. But it is how you respond to a situation rather then the problem itself.

Everyone was supper nice and hopefully the next controller will take care of the problem.

Go check them out.

Too brassy for me haha... Thats alot of light....

I got a couple of LED rope light strips and drilled some holes around my awning supports. Then I use a small tie wrap to hold it up on the inside. It isn't seen from the outside - only a nice soft light shinning down for us sitting under the awning. Also doesn't draw insects or mosquitoes...

I like your motion detector idea, sounds like a good idea. I actually prefer the tradition hanging lanterns, but with the new electric slide, and no easy access power soucre, this seemed like the right fit.

You have a slider on the iPhone app to dim and brighten as well as change to colors (1 million options) you can have them flash, blink, pulse, etc.

We will probably only use white and adjust light brightness depending on what we are doing.

My lights are also on a motion detector when we go to bed so they come on when someone walks up after lights outs time...

So if you drive up to a site and find a bunch of the small tie wraps laying on the ground that was probably me haha... I try to pick them all up but I'm sure I miss a few...

Nothing against what you have just not for us... Some like to light'um up haha... When we camp at LAKEWOOD at Myrtle Beach the whole front roll of trailers and motorhomes on the ocean side are lit up like crazy... They all try to out do each other on the fancy firepits as well... Good to walk the beach and see what you can see I reckon... You get so excited looking at what everyone has you get run over by one of those quiet running golf carts haha... They are all sprucy as well...
