I have had a set on my awning tube for about a year now and I just had 3 LED's lose red on me our last trip. I figure if I can pay less than $20 for the roll of lights and they last me a season I'm good with that.
With that said, my next set (I buy 2 at a time) will be going on the rail where the awning meets the roof. This way I can use them with the awning in or out. Also hope it might make them last a little longer since they are not rolled up in the material bathing in the water that sits in there.
