LED strip on awning roller didn't last 4 months

I also ordered the water proof LEDs and I mounted it on the Rv its self right above a pin stripe so it blends in great. I also used weatherproof silicone on the ends and where I tapped through the wall into a interior cabinet where I mounted the controller.. I use it as the porch light and a strobe/color change cycle when at Talladega..

But I found a couple sets of ROPE LIGHTS at wally word and mounted them under the Rv and use them when in party mode and as a night light..
