LED strip on awning roller didn't last 4 months

How well have your LED awning lights held up? For those that have them installed on the awning roller tube. I installed some in April, stuck them to the tube so they were under the flap that hangs off...

My new 5'er came with a Dometic awning that included a white LED strip. The strip is bright and is used as the outside patio light. When I first got the trailer the track was badly warped causing the awning not to seal against the trailer when it rained. Had it replaced and all is good but will have to see if it lasts.
