That is a misconception and 114V is plenty for any appliance and will have ZERO negative effect on appliances. In fact std usage voltage is 115V. If you're having trouble with your toaster and griddle at that voltage I would be looking for an issue with those appliances and not at any voltage issue.

Believe me when I say I have looked into this. My site is on the end of the line from the campground transformer. I did replace my toaster and nothing is wrong with my appliances. My neighbors at the CG have the same issue. We spoke with the CG owner and he is aware there is an issue but said he would have to run new lines and is not going to do that right now.
On busy weekends when everyone is running Air conditioning and I am getting less than 108v with no load in my rv, that is not good. The Autoformer has helped correct the situation.
