I've only used peel n stick tile one time, and was not impressed. After about 18 months, there was some movement of the tiles with larger gaps appearing. This was in the sticks n bricks house, and I did not prime the flooring prior to installing.
There may be different qualities of adhesive on different brands, and I can't tell you the brand name we used. We just grabbed a box at Home Depot.
