I installed peel and stick from Home Depot. I first sealed the plywood with a latex type sealer. Most of the title have held very well. I had a couple small corner or edge pieces that I used GOOP sealer on as they didn't want to stick. Same for some of the vertical pieces on my steps.
The tiles could be placed against each other or installed with a grout joint. In an rv I wouldn't install with a grout joint unless I used a flexible silicone type grout. After pricing the tubes of sealer I decided to go without joints. I was doubtful of peel and stick myself but figured I would just return it if it did go well right from the beginning. It's been almost a year now.
If I did it again I think I would try to prime it with a glossy type varnish or epoxy or something to give it a good sealed surface to bond to. A dry wood surface just doesn't seem best. Picture sticking the tile to a dry plywood or osb vs a piece of glass.
I believe I used this onerjxj wrote:
What did you do under your slides? How far did you tile? Did you have to lift the slide or remove it? (I shouldnt think this necessary but am wondering how you approached it.)
Has the slide movement ever lifted a tile?
