Same mod here for the same reason but I did both sides of the screen door. Since plexiglass scratches easily I instead used Optix purchased at our local Home Depot. I had intended to eventually do the top half of the door as well so we could leave the main door open when using A/C but that's so seldom I just haven't yet bothered.
