"Rabbit ear" wing nuts for battery posts: odd, but it works

CA Traveler, I have a disconnect. But I often need to actually swap batteries because we park the trailer in the shade, so I take my spare battery into the sun with the portable solar panel. When it is charged up, I swap out my other battery. This happens every three or four days, depending on usage.

I know what you are going to say -- "just run the generator." Not if I can help it! I go camping for the silence.
