"Rabbit ear" wing nuts for battery posts: odd, but it works

Are you saying you removed the batteries from the trailer during the day and tote them over to your sun exposed solar panels (to charge) and then reinstall them at night, and do the same the next day?

That is sure a lot of unnecessary work in my book.
