"Rabbit ear" wing nuts for battery posts: odd, but it works

How often does one need "faster on and off without tools" for a battery? I disconnect maybe once a year, if that. And if you don't have simple tools in your RV, you're doing it wrong. 5 minutes to gather the proper tool isn't a burden. And getting the proper torque (~100 in-lbs, per Trojan) for a reliable, secure connection is really hard with wingnuts, even with extended wings. Most people can only get 1/4 to 1/2 that with their fingers.
