...just finished replacing carpeting with oak laminate around the bedroom area of our travel trailer; hardest part was trying to find an oak stain that closely matches the oak flooring and/or oak bed and cabinets color(came close, but not total match, but still looks good); when doing the 1/4 round trim around the edges, be sure and pre-drill the nail holes in trim pieces. Things went smoothly. I found it to be one of the easier 'Do It Yourself' jobs. I had the chop and table saws just outside the door to make it easier to the cut by cut of pieces. I started by staining all the corner, edge and trim pieces and let them dry while I measured and cut flooring; I found it helpful to also do a polyurethane finish on the trim pieces to match the shine of the flooring..
