- BarneySExplorer IIISearch results on laminate, replace, carpet over the past year. I think this will help you a bit. :)
Barney - dpgllgExplorerI am in the process of replacing most of the carpet in our 5th wheel. In during research I think you will discover that laminate is not a good choice as it swells with moisture. I can say that is true as the laminate in our bedroom got wet and swelled / buckled.
Most advise using the vinyl plank flooring as it is moisture resistant. Also to use the click lock method over the glue strips.
I am using this product from Home Depot.

also just type in laminate in search
there is a new product at home depot, looks great, and it totally waterproof
sold in planks also - missourijanExplorerWe pulled our carpet up in the living room and replaced it with 16" square vinyl tiles. If everyone knew how much dirt goes through that carpet and accumulates under it, they would pull it out in a heartbeat. We love the vinyl tiles, bought at Home Depot and laid down with glue. We tried the vinyl planks first in the bedroom and they just weren't laying right so pulled them out and used the vinyl tiles. Easy to clean, looks great
- Cummins12V98Explorer IIII would highly suggest LVT.
- azrvingExplorerI used peel and stick thin vinyl tile. I didn't like the snap together or the sticky strip type wood look. We wanted a stone tile look and the ability to replace any that might be damaged without having to remove everything. These vinyl tiles can be installed with no spacing or with a grout joint and flexible grout. I prepped the wood with a latex primer so the tiles would stick better.
It's an older rig so it has a raised slide which was also tiled and I used aluminum cap strips on the edge. I did have a couple small pieces around the steps that didn't stick well so I glued them down with goop adhesive. Or rig doesn't see extreme cold
I installed a piece of 1/2 inch quarter round under the edge of the slide to hide the rollers that are showing. - alboyExplorerI installed AC4 a commercial grade 12mm laminate with a foil underpad ,floating floor.Ended up having to glue/PPL all the joints, no other issues in 2 1/2 years, best upgrade we have done.

I agree with Dave. Our kids were doing a renovation this summer, and some rain got down the exposed chimney in their house and onto their laminate flooring. Lots of bubbling of the flooring, though a quick clean and our dry climate helped to limit the issue. YMMV... Personally, I'd prefer the vinyl over laminate in an RV any day.
Lyle - Cummins12V98Explorer IIILuxury Vinyl Tile is VERY durable. It's a glut down product. Damage one pull it and glue down another. It's available in all sixes and patterns.
rjxy Seriously I wish you the best of luck with your "peel n stick". - Dayle1Explorer III've done a lot of flooring in my volunteer work and most popular is 100% vinyl click lock planks. Unaffected by moisture and more durable than sheet vinyl. My biggest suggestion is use at least 5mm thick planks for durable lock mechanism. I recently installed Tranquility 5.5mm from Lumber Liquidators in my house, only needs 1/4 inch gap over a 70 ft span. Several places in my kitchen I went with 1/8 inch gap and just filled it with a matching color caulk. In an RV, 1/8 inch would work everywhere with no bulky trim needed.
