Rear Camera ?

I have a strange question about the rear camera on my mh. The fact that the picture displayed on the dash monitor is in reverse. It shows the cars that are passing on my drivers side to appear to be on the passenger side. For some strange reason this continues to irritate me. I'm wondering is there anything that can be done to change the orientation of the picture on the monitor to show the cars passing me on the left, on the left side of the monitor? I don't know the brand of camera but the display is a Jenson combination unit with radio,cd,and can handle 3 camera inputs. Any thoughts on this other than I'm nuts. LOL

  • Sounds like your camera might not be a dedicated vehicle, rear view camera.

I bought a camera that was designed to screw onto your license plate frame. It shows correct left/right, so I think it is really a function of the camera, not the display.

  • Different brands use different methods, so there may be a switch on the camera, on the monitor, or like mine, an onscreen menu entry that selects the "direct" or "mirror" view or similar wording.
