Reface or paint cabinets?
I am disappointed in the peeling vinyl covering on some of the woodwork. The cabinet doors are not affected as much as the frames and trim. Has anyone successfully painted or refaced their woodwork?...

I had my cabinets refaced many years ago (20 yrs ago +/-). Mine were 1950ls era built in place wood cabinets. I am well satisfied with the refacing. The cabinet doors and hinges were removed and replaced as part of the project; I’m a little disappointed with the new doors. Overall I’d do it all again.
