We got rid of our day nights shades and installed cordless cellular pleated shades. We have black out shades in the bedroom so no more light coming through all those tiny holes (right into my eyes!) and no light at all coming through. The rest of the coach has a beige color (white is also available) so some light comes through but we really rarely close them during the day anyway!
Best upgrade to our coach ever!
We got ours at Menards and they were a simple self-install if you are just a tiny bit handy.
While most RVers would not care, the cellular blinds also provide a great deal of insulation between the glass and the interior both in the heat of day or the cold of Winter. The difference is very noticeable between the blinds being up or down.
