Replacement of expensive under sink water filter
I have this metal water filter that clogs up about every 3 months and costs $38.00 to replace. I wanted go to home depot and plumb in a less expensive option. Anyone done this, and if yes how ?

If the under sink filter is clogging what easy I think I would also be worried about all the cr@p that's causing that is also in the coach water system probably doing long term damage. The filter casings sold at Home Depot can be fit with any number of various filters and easily stacked. They also have pipe to hose adapters over in plumbing to permit it to be installed in the wet bay or pedestal.
I have no experience with Yuma water but apparently it's one of the worst places you can go. Find someone that's there and listen to what they've done.
