Replacement of expensive under sink water filter
I have this metal water filter that clogs up about every 3 months and costs $38.00 to replace. I wanted go to home depot and plumb in a less expensive option. Anyone done this, and if yes how ?

I had same issue with my under sink filter in my 04 Jayco. I believe the hard water down here caused it to plug up if he sat long period. I eliminated it and have a large filter between source and RV. No issues in last 5 years.
