If you are doing something more complicated than that it becomes a different ball game.
I removed my wheels, had the tires removed, the rims sandblasted and painted, then new tires installed.
With my trailer hitched up (so it could rotate rather than have the landing legs torque the frame) I used a heavy duty jack under the spring equalizer between the tires. When high enough I placed a jack stand under the frame rail just behind the axles.
Repeated to other side.
With all four wheels off the ground I removed them and proceeded with the sand-blast/paint/new tires process.
Also took the opportunity to service the bearings at the same time. (With the jack providing extra support each side as I worked on them.)
Some may not like my process, but it worked for me.
X1, Call Les Schwab and let them do it, might also have them check the bearings at the same time, repack if needed. Les Schwab does it for me every other year.
