Anyone replacing the carpet have problems with the new flooring being scuffed by the slide roller? Or pad?
It's going to depend on the manufacturers method of slide retraction. Some use rollers, some Teflon glides, etc.. In my case, unfortunately, they figured the carpet to carpet contact would be sufficient to protect the floor. When I removed the carpet from the slide and main floor, I had severe contact, to the point of gouging. I had to put Teflon glides on the ends of the slide, which on time left rub marks on the flooring.
