Replacing Jacknife Sofa / Shop4Seats

Planning on replacing a jacknife type sofa with a dual recliner loveseat. Found several that will fit perfectly at Shop4Seats.com. Just wondering if any of you have purchased from them and any problems, if any.
We're in Va. and their in Calif. so no way to "test try" their products.
Thanks,
Grumpy
  • Thanks for the input guys. We ordered the DeLeon double recliner to replace that awful jacknife sofa.

  • I also got the Belmont sofa from them. The sofa is fine. I added the storage drawer under it and was not impressed with the latching system they used. I remodeled it as I was installing the unit. I also had a couple of cushions made to match for my half booth set up. Have been using the unit for the last 3 months without any issues and I am happy with the quality of materials used.
  • You are welcome Grumpy. Like you I was concerned about ordering without seeing in person so I did a lot of research and found nothing but good reviews for them on several different forums and took a chance. As I said they met and actually exceeded my expectations as I was expecting a couple of months for delivery as every purchase is made to order and I was ordering a double recliner and a sofa and I wanted the sofa in a specific length. I was surprised when Clara said 4 weeks. It actually took three.
  • Thanks fpresto. We're looking at the Monaco Double Recliner. Just waiting for some fabric swatches to arrive before we make our final choice. Was just trying to get a feel for the company in general.

  • Grumpy, I used Shop4Seats.com to purchase a double recliner and a new sofa. I couldn't have been happier. I received exactly what I ordered, on time and packed perfectly. I spoke with Clara on the phone. She is very knowledgeable about their products and is very helpful. I got the Deleon Double Recliner and a matching Belmont sofa. I am located in MD so it was shipped across the country with no issues.
  • The loveseats I'm looking at will fit. It's a wall hugger, and the backs detach from the bottom, so it will go thru the door. Plenty of room to work with as two slide-outs ard across from each other. The web site is primarily rv furniture.
My concern is buying it and shipping it out only to find it's quality is so-so.

  • Don't know what kind of camper you have and sounds like a welcome change for you. One thing you REALLY need to consider, can you actually get the new dual recliner loveseat in the door of your camper and actually navigate to it to it's final resting place? The furniture in my current camper all comes apart, (like the back of the rocking chair seats and the couch backs making it possible to fit in the door, make a turn and then go into the living room area.) The reason I'm asking is because I've replace mattresses in all of my campers and getting them IN THE DOOR and in place is a once-a-lifetime experience. Usually loveseats and recliners are all one piece don't come apart. That's what makes RV furniture so different than furniture from a big box company.
