Replacing Roof A/C With Dome Question
I'm looking to replace my roof A/C with a dome. The question is, do you think that the cutout would be a standard size that would accept an rv roof dome?

Might be ok but I'd worry about a mini split being damaged by road vibration. They are made to be mounted and not bounced down the road mile after mile.
I've given that some thought too. There should be a way around that. Minisplits are very reasonable here in Mexico. I just bought a 1 ton for another bedroom for $199. A 110 3/4 ton should be about the same. A roof top A/C is $500 or more? I would downsize the roof air just to keep it simple but they don't make the 7400 and 9000 btu anymore.
