Replacing roof molding with Rain Gutter.

Question

I have a 2002 GulfStream Seahawk 5th wheel that I want to replace the roof molding on the drivers side to put on a rain gutter. Is is as easy as just unscrewing the old molding and putting up the new molding and then caulking it? Do you need to caulk behind the rain gutter? Will the rubber roof move while the molding is off? the  I would like to hear from someone that has done this.

I bought some "peel and stick" type of rain gutter for my last trailer.. worked fine..just make sure you have the surface clean and get it level. Got it at a local RV place. Too long ago to remember the price, but not too bad, and it kept most of the black streaks off the side.
