Yes, done that!! Works great, and only occasionally will there be any liquid in the line after dumping (from kitchen tank). Never have any black stuff in the pipe since it's up front and unchanged. Makes dumping much quicker and less work if you're somebody that uses 2 hoses to get the job done!!
Good slope of course, but that will change according to the dump site!! One thing I did and recommend is put rubber connections in the pipe as necc so if you need to get to the slide mechanism (if under trailer) can be accessed if needed.
