Everything except microwave and air conditioner run great just on solar and batteries.
Well maybe, depends on the inverter rating & type, battery bank supplying the inverter, and how well the wiring has been done. I installed a 1000 watt sine wave inverter because the price was far less than a similar 2000 watt, my primary objective being able to power the trailer's 120 vac receptacles (just as the OP says he wants to do) so I could power inexpensive 120 vac fans I already own. Obviously, because I wired it "whole house" every receptacle is hot, just as it would be when the trailer is plugged into shore power, so within the limits of the inverter, battery, and wiring I can use the inverter's 120 vac output to power anything I want by simply plugging into any convenient receptacle, be it a fan, phone charger, or whatever. Even with a single G27 providing source power to the inverter I found I can run my wife's hair dryer on LOW, our small 5 cup coffee machine which is rated at 550 watts, or even a 2 slice toaster rated at 850 watts. The system does struggle a bit with the toaster because I'm running just a single G27 so until such time as I upgrade the battery I think the better solution is an inexpensive toaster from WallyWorld that's rated at just 650 watts. Frankly, I don't care much about the coffee machine or toaster as there are other ways of dealing with those that require no electrical power at all ... but my wife's hair dryer I'm told is VERY important! :p
