Sure you can run it all from one battery. Amperage is amperage. Get your total from multiple small batterys or a single big one. Back in 2010 I installed a 4D (case size)Lifeline AGM. It is still going strong. Expecting another 3-4 years out of it. Next time I might get an 8D AGM if it will fit.
The trick is to know what the power hogs are. Before using the inverter the water heater, the microwave, the fridge & the air is turned off at circuit breaker since my inverter feeds the whole panel.
The switching off is part of the setting up for dry camping routine.
