Is there a good Thermistor replacement on a Dometic Model# DM2852RBX that isnt gonna be in the $70-$100 range? I've seen some other ones in the $15-$40 range but it doesnt match the fridge model number and I dont really wanna gamble on it even though it looks the same as the original thermistor.

I used one for several years with no trouble at all. I had to replace the whole refrigerator recently because of the dreaded yellow leak. I never have liked the slider adjustment and it always needed adjusting. I will get another Snip The Tip when I get fed up with this slider. The kit has good, simple instructions and has all you need. I'm not familiar with refrigerators with a set temperture.
Try this - no more sliding adjustment but a rotary knob in it's place. It's great! I only wish I had placed the control a little more forward, toward the front. However, once set, it was always right. Easy installment too. I'm not affilated with this company, just a satisfied customer. (It may look odd since this is my 1st post here).
How has it been working so far? I might have to go with this option since I think that slider thing is kinda pointless but I've read somewhere that this model of fridge is factory set to a certain temp range
