I had one on my 1990 Bounder and due to the configuration of the drain valves and hose storage, I only removed it once and it did take a lot of force and some breakage did occur. It did work for emptying my tanks at home and I could pump up and over a planter to a cleanout on the side of the house. I had 20 feet of hose attached. A Sewer Solution, however, is not a pump, it is a macerator system. It uses gravity and/or water pressure to pull stuff out of the tanks and macerate it. There are no moving parts used to break down effluents and paper, just a stream of water and in my opinion it is not a flush system, hose yeah, tank, no.
I don't have one on the Winnie because I have a Tornado Tank Flush installed and it is easier to use that and the 3" hose in most places. At home there is a rise if 18" over the planter and then back down to the cleanout so I do need something to overcome that rise. I am going to use the Steam Punk Workshop, garbage disposal method.
(LINk) I do not plan on carrying the thing in the rig, it is just for use to pump out and clean the tanks at home.
I have never had a clog with the 3" hose and the only reason for the pump is for at home usage when I am camping without a dump station or when the RV becomes our second bedroom.
