Each package of six tiles weighs 12.75 ounces. I used four package. Very little weight consequence.

Thanks! I'll be looking into this mod for next winter. Looks great! Thanks for the idea!

  • Smart tile comes in sheets 10x10, I believe. All I did was scrub the wall to remove any dirt and grease, I left the border on the wall. It seemed pretty solid when I attempted to remove it. It was a little difficult to maneuver to stick the tiles around the range hood but the end result is worth it. There is room for error as the busy nature of the pattern allows for adjustment without any notice. Had my critical son try to find a mistake I had made, he couldn't find it. Although it was a grout line I had to eliminate to get the tile back to plumb. If I didn't know where to look, I would have a hard time finding it.

  • What prep work did you do to the rv walls before installation? It looks amazing and might be something I would like to tackle.
  • I have mine yet to do. Yours looks great despite the dark pics. :(
  • It really amazes how a project that is reasonably easy and inexpensive can make such a huge difference. I am surprised that the manufacturers have not caught on yet. I did see a unit that had "tile" on the backslash but it was wallpaper. It looked great from a distance but up close, well they couldn't have cheapness the look of the kitchen any more.

    Great job, really looks great.
