Smart tiles?

Of the folks out there that have used Smart Tiles or those mosaic stick ons behind the sink backsplash area in an RV, do they stick well? Do they stay up in the extremes of temperatures?
I would like to upgrade our kitchen area by sanding the vinyl wall covering first, cleaning it and sticking those tiles up

  • I got the smart tile for 2 years now with no problem.Great product it change the looks of the kitchen totally.
  • Same here, 2 extremely cold winters and hot summer. No problems. I did not sand before installation, just thoroughly cleaned the walls before starting. Small bead of caulking around the edges.

  • Thanks for the feedback. I'm planning to do this once we pickup our new trailer in April. Just have to pick which tiles I want. Apparently they're releasing some new styles soon too.
  • Just ordered my Smart Tiles yesterday! I'm going to do part of the area behind/around the stove area. (I did order a couple extra in case I make a "boo-boo"!) I've heard that they hold up very well. Will let you know how things go. :)
  • We went from this.

To this. I used 12x12 Armstrong floor tiles cut in half. Extra panel glue and paneling trim around the top edge. Chris
