Wouldn't disconnecting the battery do the job for such a short period? You could give it a try and if that works then you could install a battery disconnect blade so it's just a matter of flipping the blade uo and pushing it back in place when you are ready to go. If the temps are going to be pretty low then I would not recommend this option as cold and discharged batteries do not go well together!
