solar powered refer vent fan?

Does anyone have thoughts about using a small solar panel to power refer vent fans? Harbor Freight has a solar panel with plenty of output for up to three 12 volt fans ( I didn't buy it because it didn't say it was weather proof). Solar wouldn't use up boon docking power and would work pretty well most of the time.
IDEAS??

The power consumption is so low on the computer fans, I wouldn't worry about using my 12 volt system to power them. They are easy to find & cheap. Put a couple just inside the exterior access door, one at the top to draw air out & one in the lower section drawing in with a in-line thermostat to control them. Read up on the set points of the thermostat to get the right one.

I just use a dual fan inside my refer with a on/off switch & wired with a fuse to the 12 volt on the backside of the frig. About $20 on Ebay.
