Stinky Slinky storage

I recently purchased a 2007 Forest River Lexington. It does not have a 5" square bumper for the Stinky Slinky. The small compartment will not accommodate my hose.
I have seen other that have affixed a section of white PVC pipe to their rear bumper.
I would like to do the same.

Can anyone give me ideas for attaching the pipe to the rear bumper?

Thanks in advance.

Ross
  • I've seen people who have attached a plastic fence post (Lowe's, Home Depot, cheap) to their bumper.
  • I use extra large zip ties to fasten my PVC to the inside of the rear bumper. Has held great for several years. I also put a 45 elbow with screw cap to get my 20 foot hose in and out. One of my better mods IMHO
  • Ross,
There is a fellow who came up with a pretty neat idea, whereby he installed a rotating toilet bowl flange in the sewer hookup compartment, glued on an "el" underneath, with a 3ft 4" PVC pipe, into which he puts the "Stinky Slinky".
The hose stays permanently hooked up to the grey/black outlet, snaking down through the rotating flange, the El and the 3ft pipe. It is held in the pipe with an end cap when not in use.

  • I've seen, Duct tape, bungee cords, large zip ties, large hose clamps....and and and...
