I've now started cutting out the individual panels so I can glass them flat on the table for a better layup. My cloth is 38" wide, so I've started with the center section of the back wall. The remaining 'wings' are each 19", so I will make the back corners the next pieces to do after this one is back up and hanging on the form again.

This shows how the temporary forms are structured to hold the foam in place until it's all glassed into a solid unit.
Those pads span the cut line to ensure that the pieces go back in on the same plane. They are taped to prevent epoxy from sticking to them when I glue the seams back together.

A close up of what the glass looks like when it's cured. This one layer (unit) of West 105/205 resin on 6 oz cloth.

Once the shell is all back together, I've already secured a buddy to help me strip out the forms and lift the whole works off the trailer deck and set it on the ground so I can put the final layer of glass over the outside without a ladder. This thing is so light I could handle the weight myself, but it's too big and awkward for one person. When we get to the stage where its going back on, I'm going to try and weight it with a couple fish scales from that cherry tree...
