I would love to put the tote in the back of the truck like "SoundGuy" would, but unfortunately the bed of my truck has a diesel transfer tank, 4 large bikes, tools and anything thats small enough that I don't want to put inside the RV. So I can't worry about esthetics. I have to put the dang thing on the back of the trailer.
Reading the forums my understanding is that some have adapted the BAL Hide-a-Spare Bracket for mounting a tote tank under the trailer, out of sight. :)
No thanks. With my luck it would drag on the road due to different inclines and damage the rack and tote. ;)
It wouldn’t drag if you mount it just in front or to the rear of the axles. I had one on my previous TT, which sat a little low to the ground, and I never had an issue. It carried my spare and my blue tote.
