Toilet Recommendation?

When I remodeled our class B, I also went with the Dometic 310. I haven't regretted it. Got it on sale at Camping World.

It does weigh a little more, but it's just a few pounds. (only the bowl is porcelain). We have not had any issues with it, and I like it quite a bit - well, as much as you can like a toilet, I suppose...

Not a whole lot of room here to do much of anything...

Us guys probably don't have much to do with the installed potties... I always go to the rest rooms, or water down the poison ivy...

I have the Dometic 310. It works well but there may be issues.

There is no overflow, but I don't know if any have that anymore.

It uses more water than most.

If you need to replace parts, you need to buy half the toilet.

I haven't had the water spill out while traveling, like Barney mentioned, but my son had the problem in his rear bath model.

We had a Bravura a few years back and all I did was need to work on it for a variety of reasons JMHO jb

Our Bravura is over 9 years old. Have not had a problem with it. Would like a porcelain. But do not want the added weight.

I bought a Dometic 310 and like it a lot.

We have Thetford's "Style Plus" porcelain bowl foot flush model, with the water saver spray attachment. It has worked perfectly for us since installing it in 2008. We particularly like the standard residential contoured seat and lid. We even bought an identical seat for the residential toilet in our base cottage, since there are some places in life where seating comfort has a high priority. :B

Whatever brand you get, make sure there is a lip at the top of the bowl to keep the water in while moving down the road. My two sons have new trailers and their trailers have porcelain toilets without that rim. The bowl comes right to the top of the toilet. They need to travel with the toilet empty to keep the water from splashing out. Sorry but I do not know the brand they have.
