Another idea along this line would be to make the back board a full hinged door. Then you could mount the TV to door and then be able to swing it out by opening the cabinet door. The 32-inch TV is not going to weight very much...
This would allow you to use the cabinet space behind the door for shelves etc to store things... Also would let you get behind the TV for cables or removing with ease...
