Is there some reason with the way that 50amp service works that my AC shouldn't work - is it somehow getting much less amperage?
I have double-checked all the connections in the circuit box and everything is tight - even put a meter on the breaker to make sure it wasn't bad.
The fact you haven't returned to this discussion to clarify exactly what it is you did and how you did it suggests strongly that you may not be understanding what 50 amp RV service really is - i.e. two 50 amp legs for a total capacity of 100 amps @ 120 vac, or 12,000 watts. If you've miswired you may well have far more problems than just your A/C not working. :E
