A few corrections here.
1) Not 100% discharge. 75-80% is more likely, if you want them to last. (And max charge is also desirable to limit by 80-90% of nominal capacity).
2) Cost should be compared "per cycle", not per AH :)... Flooded are probably cheaper per cycle.
Faster Li in the last 15-20% of charge, yes.
OP - how are you going to charge them?
