Vinyl Graphics

Our travel trailer is looking somewhat shabby due to the graphics shrinking and peeling.
Do any if you know of a graphic business that provides graphics for trailers? There are some limited graphics listed in a RV catalog, but they don't turn us on.
Thanks

  • There is an RV Graphics business in the east valley in Arizona that does this. I recently got a quote for a 28ft fiberglass side 5th wheel for my dad. Graphics removal was around 5-800 but to replace the graphics was an additional 2-2500. Total cost between $2500-$3300. That is pretty steep for a trailer that was only worth maybe 8K. On my trailer I pulled all the stickers when new and although it is a really big white box it still looks nice to me.
  • Do a Google search on "auto graphics". You'll find lots of places that sell a variety of designs and sizes.
  • You might want to talk to the company who built your trailer and see if they won't send you replacement graphics,,,, remind them it's THEIR BRAND NAME on YOUR RIG and your sure they don't want THEIR PRODUCT to look so shabby to potential customers,,,hint-hint. Then you can hire any sign company to remove your originals and re-apply the new set.
  • Most sign and banner shops have large format graphic printers (actually cutters). They would be able to design and cut whatever graphic you would like for a price. Paint on is the best solution.
  • I have no first hand knowledge of this method, but would a "car wrap" type of thing work? Your design is limited only to your imagination & I'm thinking a partial graphics could be done without doing entire vehicle.

Don't know for sure, but may be worth looking in to.
  • It may be a better idea to take it to a body shop and have them painted on...
I had a 1997 Holiday Rambler that sat in the Florida sun 10 months a year.. the rear cap was completely faded... I took it to the local shop , they matched the colors , painted them on and clear coated over.. from that point they looked brand new!!!
The old graphics probably left a ghosting where they were... so that would be easy to figure out the patterns...
