Most grills won't work unless you hook in at the tank area between the propane tank and the trailer regulator. All of the trailer plumbing past the regulator at the tanks are low pressure and grills need high pressure as they most all have the regulator built in with the grill heat control. Randu
On the Weber Q, you remove the regulator and put the 1/8" MNPT - 250 quick disconnect in its place. If you don't remove the regulator, then you have to tap into the propane before the regulator on the RV.
Thanks for the clarifaction. I didn't realize the regulator was removable from the on/off flow control. Guess I need to take mine apart to learn more about it. Mine is due for a good cleaning anyways. Randu
