The problem with installing the fan where one does not currently exist is the chance of cutting through a support beam or cutting through the existing 12v wiring. The antenna crank is centered over the foot of the bed as well as a 12v light fixture over the head of the bed and one toward the foot of the bed. Could possibly have the wiring run in line between the two. I need to obtain the info from Keystone as to where I can safely cut. My fiancé likes the idea of a decorative board with a fan that slides into the windows on each side of the bed. Her thinking is that we each have individual fans in case the other doesn't want their fan on and the window insert would provide more privacy. The entire window would be covered except for the round hole where the fan will be. If I'm at deer camp with no other prying eyes, I love the view of an opened window, but I keep the curtains drawn at night in a park. My only downfall with the window mounted fan is having a cord run to the outlet that I can trip over at night.
