Well I got it back yesterday and I'm blown away by how stout the sub frame is. We went with a 6" lift and several holes for adjustment on the shackles. Its tubed 2x6" with three cross members. The original shackles were left on which sandwiched the 2x6". I am happy I went this route.
Everything rides nice and level now. Just have to take it slower on the turns with the higher center of gravity. I'll get another overall picture later for comparison on the entire rig.
