On our 1994 Alfa a wire nut came loose at the motor. I had to remove the pan covering the slideout mechanicals underneath the 5th wheel. As soon as I saw the motor with the two loose wires I knew what was wrong. Twisted them back together put on a new wire nut along with black tape to hold it and the other wire nut in place. Screwed the pan back on rechaulked and we were ready to go.
It took about 45 minutes.
Slideout still working after 6 years.
