I had two 12v, 110ah baterries. Thats a total of 12v and 220ah of power. They performed well even with our residential fridge.
I removed those two and installed four Trojan T-145 batteries in series and parallel which produces 12v and 520ah. This works even better :). I had to modify the battery shelf a bit to accommodate the taller batteries but it well worth it.
I'm also adding 544 watts of Solar with Uni-Solar peel and stick panels. Then I won't have to run the generator much at all if ever.
I can't tell you what to do, but I can tell you that it'd be an improvement.
