2003 Fleetwood Terry Quantum

Hello All,
I had never been in an RV in my life. Recently divorced and am now renting/living in a Terry Quantum 5TH Wheel. The name plate says built 8/03. It is hooked to AC power but the DC system is dead. My friend/landlord replaced the batteries and this took care of the problem for a day or so. Now everything is dead again including the thermostat for the rooftop AC so it is freaking hot.

I understand there is an AC/DC converter/battery charger. I suspect it is blown.
I can not find it.I have crawled, looked, poked, you name it and can't find the thing.
Does ANYBODY know where it might be located?
Thank you in advance.
  • They can be located anywhere. I accidentally found mine mounted behind a panel back of my basement storage area. There is no access to the area without removing the back panel to the basement storage. I always assumed it would be located in a compartment behind my fuse panel, wrong!! I plan to cut an access panel some time this winter just so I don't have to remove the back panel to get to it. Some design engineers really make you go huh!!
  • I owned a couple of Quantum's built 04 and 07. They were rather cheap, but had a great floor plan. I think I saw all that stuff behind a basement wall. Been awhile so I can't say for sure. It could change from one year to another. Take the basement walls down and you will probably find it. I would take the one off facing the rear first.
  • As others have said it can be hiding anywhere. I found mine behind main compartment wall mounted under the bathroom floor under the toilet. Why, I don't know I replaced it and mounted it down behind the main fuse box.
  • My 05 Prowler which is near identical to the Quantum has the charger/converter behind a door on the basement wall (Door Side).
