2007 Jayco Eagle Super Lite 31.5 FBHS?

Looking at 2007 Jayco with front bunks. I prefer a bunk house with slides, but this is in nice condition. Asking price of $22,000, appears very high, got them down a bit, but still appears high 1t $17,000. What are your thoughts on price for this unit. I've seen them listed from 14k to 22k....?

2007 Jacyco Eagle Super Lite. There are 4 bunks in the front. The master bedroom and bathroom is in the rear it has 2 slide outs. It also has an electric awning, 2 TVs, an easy winterizing system, sealed undercarriage and more. I am selling it because I only used it three times in the past three years. The Super Lite version has less weight up front to make it easier to tow. It is in showroom condition. I will also include a sliding fifth wheel hitch.

  • Is there a "check list" available for those buying used on the forum?
  • Make sure you check the roof out for soft spots. Jayco had big issues with water damage 2005-2007
  • Since I have an 08 exactly like you are talking about, I think that $22000 is extremely high since I paid in the mid $20K range for ours new. IMHO, I think that $17.5K to $19K would be a reasonably good price.
  • A number of years ago when looking to move up from a Pop-up to a TT we started looking at used as we thought we couldn't afford new, but after looking at the prices on used units we found we could get a new TT with a warranty for just a little more. At that price I would be looking to see what Dealers might have in new left over models that would work for you.

Some times sale price is driven by the amount owed on a loan.
You might ask if there is a lien holder.
  • I've got the opposite of this model, the 31.5 BHDS. Mine has the bedroom up front and bunks in the rear slide. Similar living room, trailer etc. I've been offered 14k to buy outright and 15k to consign at a dealer. The FBHS was a more desirable unit because of the full height rear bedroom, but 22k is crazy, but 17 is slightly too high. My 2008 was 27 new. This one is a year older than mine. I'd shoot for 15-16 and see what happens.
